Robyn & Kenny | Real Weddings at Bachilton Barn

How did you two meet?

We met in our last year at high school, however we didn't actually start speaking until the following year after school finished.

What was it that made you choose Bachilton Barn?

We seen Bachilton Barn online when hunting for barn style weddings. Actually, it was the first venue I came across when we had started looking. From the minute I seen it online, I knew I wanted to get married there. We drove up one Sunday and went a walk around the grounds. As soon as we parked, both of us knew this was where we wanted to get married.

What was important to you when planning your wedding?

The most important thing when planning our wedding, was that it captured us perfectly as a couple and it did. We also wanted to make sure that on our day, we could enjoy it. Kayleigh helped massively by ensuring everything was covered on the day so that we didn't have to worry about anything other than having fun.

Tell us about your big day! What was your favourite part?

Our big day was AMAZING!!! We absolutely loved our entire day, we don't actually think we could choose a favourite part. One thing we loved the most, was when those doors opened and we seen each other for the first time, both of us knew the minute we seen each other that this was it, we could relax and enjoy every minute of what was to come. Our day was perfect in every way, from the decor, to the food, to the music. Everything about our day, was us and was everything we had dreamed of and more.

What tips and tricks would you give to other couples planning their wedding?

The only advise we could give is to enjoy every single minute of it. We know how stressful the planning can be, but it is completely and utterly worth it. Enjoy the planning, the stress, the fun, it all because on that day you will blink and it will be over. Make sure you do it the way you both want to do it because it is your day.

How are you enjoying married life?

Married life so far has been good. In some ways, it feels the exact same but it also feels a whole new level of amazing.

Getting all the details required for our big day, keeping us calm, playing the music we wanted, making sure everything ran smoothly. Kayleigh truly is amazing. We would also like to say a massive thank you to Eric for being such a big part of our evening. From our first announcement as Mr and Mrs, to an awesome video he took, to being there right until the end for anything we needed.
