How did you two meet?
At secondary school! (Although it turns out we actually went to the same nursery)
What was it that made you choose Bachilton Barn?
It was the first venue we viewed and no other venue compared for us. The surroundings and and the fact it was a blank canvas that we could decorate as we wanted. When we viewed it felt very relaxed which is exactly how we both wanted our day to be.
What was important to you when planning your wedding?
It was important that we had the freedom to decorate as we wished. We wanted a wedding that was relaxed and reflected us as a couple and we felt Bachilton allowed us to do exactly that. It was also great having the accommodation on site for the bridal party to stay and get ready in the same place in the morning.
Tell us about your big day! What was your favourite part?
I don't know if we could pick out one single part, the whole weekend from start to finish was great. The whole day was relaxed for us and filled with love and laughter surrounded by our friends and family.
What tips and tricks would you give to other couples planning their wedding?
Enjoy the build up and make decisions based on your preferences. Make sure to take in the day and take moments with your partner to take it all in. Don't sweat the small stuff as it will all come together and you will have an amazing day!
How are you enjoying married life?
Loving it! We have settled into married life easily and cannot wait to get planning the honeymoon!
