Kate & Stuart's wedding took place in February 2022. Here's what they had to say about their wedding at Bachilton Barn!
How did you two meet?
We met 7 years ago on a night out in Perth, we actually ‘sort of’ knew each other from mutual friends and we just got chatting and swapped numbers. We went for our first date and the rest is history!
What was it that made you choose Bachilton Barn?
Even though we both moved to Edinburgh, Perth was always going to be our home and when we first visited Bachilton Barn, we loved the rustic vibe and that we had our own canvas to work with! The views just secured the deal!
What was important to you when planning your wedding?
The whole time planning and even through lockdowns and postponents we always knew what we wanted from our wedding day, we wanted to celebrate and be happy with our friends and family and have a relaxed and happy day and not stress.
Tell us about your big day! What was your favourite part?
Where do I start!! Seeing the venue come to life with our flowers and decor was just amazing, we worked with Kayleigh and our suppliers to utilise the space as best as we can and everything was just perfect! Having the window as a backdrop to that amazing view to getting our photos dancing on the gazebo, everything was perfect. For me having to postpone my favourite part was seeing everyone we loved in one room having a great time.
What tips and tricks would you give to other couples planning their wedding?
Stick to what you want as a couple, don’t stress about the little things and relax on your big day, if it doesn’t go perfectly, don’t let it bother you!
